We launched our first proper, grown-up website two and a bit years ago and our first blog was a rather self indulgent list about the new website. A hell of a lot has changed since then. And so it’s time to re-launch our site and craft a new self indulgent list.
So here it is..in celebration of our new site..ThePeloton’s 5 Really Important Things That Have Changed Over The Last Two And A Half Years.
5 – Video has gone from ‘nice to have’ to becoming central to many company websites. It’s a great way to get your message across and showcase your talents and services. It’s also essential for SEO. But we would say that wouldn’t we..
4 – We used to call it viral, now we call it social. They’re the wildly popular clips that get shared at breakneck speed. We’ve got a new name for it, wildfire video? It could catch-on.
3 – YouTube. It’s gone from content host to content commissioner. The TV networks are quaking.
2 – Interactivity. It’s made video measurable, shoppable and responsive. It’s a revolution..you’ll see.
1 – Cats have taken over the internet and every site should have one. According to a recent report, cats
make up over 80% of the internet. So try sneak one onto your site.
Oh yeah, a few things that haven’t changed. We still don’t like orange. Yellow’s OK. We like purple..but you probably noticed that.
